Round copper dormer roof.
Copper roofing on a round barrel style dormer roof near Cleveland, Ohio. This round roof dormer is surrounded by a black slate imported from Spain. Copper flashing between the slate courses run four inches up and under the redwood wall siding. Copper drip edge, formed to fit the round face of the dormer, covers the trim work. Copper sheet metal panels are fabricated with edges that are bent and folded together and then soldered tight. These panels run up to the peak of the hip and ridge of the roof and are then covered by the copper hip cap and the copper ridge roll and soldered in place.
